A lockable room for your team, not a desk with branding

A private cabin is not a coworking desk with better branding. It is a lockable room that belongs to your team for the month, in a building on West High Court Road with reception, power backup and housekeeping already handled.

Workinger offers two sizes: a 6-seater at ₹45,000 a month and an 8-seater at ₹60,000 a month. Both are furnished. Both come with everything on the shared amenity list — leased-line internet, power backup, CCTV, security, air conditioning, parking, pantry, calling booth, meeting-room access and daily housekeeping — at no extra charge.

Break it down per person and a 6-seater cabin works out at ₹7,500 per seat. Compare that with a conventional office: rent, a broadband contract, an inverter or DG set, an air-conditioning AMC, a housekeeping arrangement, someone at the front desk, furniture, and the time you personally spend managing all of it.

The cabin replaces every line of that with one monthly figure. If the team grows from five to eight, you move to the larger cabin. If a project ends, you are not stuck with four years of a lease.

We take two months' security deposit, refundable at the end of your term, and the plan fee is payable in advance. That is the whole of it — there is no fit-out contribution, no maintenance levy and no charge for anything on the amenity list.

A commercial lease in Dharampeth will usually ask for six months up front, plus whatever the fit-out costs you. Two months against six is the actual comparison, and we would rather you read it here than hear it for the first time when the paperwork appears.

Per seat the two are identical, so the decision is purely about headroom. Take the 6-seater for a team of three to six, or four people who want room to spread out. Take the 8-seater for a team of six to eight, or a team that is hiring. The usual mistake is choosing the smaller cabin because the number is smaller, then spending six months with two people at a shared corner desk. If you expect to hire within the year, take the space now.

Any decent operator can put a good chair in a room. What none of them can do is move the building.

You call or send the form. We ask how many people, roughly when you want to start, and whether you want the 6 or the 8. You come and look at the cabin — take ten minutes in it, make a call, see whether the room works. If it does, we put the paperwork together and you move in. There is no application process and no committee.

Bring your laptop when you visit. Test the internet yourself rather than taking our word for it.
